The main goal of the training was to familiarise the MP COE’s staff with the basic rules of using the AEDs, and provide the personnel with the skills as well as ensure confidence to use the state-of-the-art and extremely straightforward in use equipment, and performing Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation(CPR).
The most of soldiers and civilian employees had an opportunity to verify their skills during a practical part of the training.
The purchase was dedicated by the NATO MP COE’s Director and the training was provided within the same transaction.
The training was organised at the highest level of knowledge and reassured to the Centre’s personnel the abilities in correct care with 2-3 minutes of a sudden cardiac arrest in survival. It is common knowledge that those kind of skills can help in increasing the survival rate up to 75%.
The MP COE’s employees claim to have a hope they will never be forced to use this modern equipment, but if necessary they well know how to deal with it.
