​The very first change of command and farewell ceremony at the NATO Military Police Centre of Excellence.

At the end of December , after almost eight years, Col Grzegorz WASIELEWSKI (POL) handed over his duties to his successor Col Mirosław ŁABĘCKI (POL). The military ceremony was held in Bydgoszcz in the NATO Military Police Centre of Excellence's compound in the presence of the invited guests personnel of the NATO MP COE.

Col Grzegorz WASIELEWSKI stressed and thanked all his subordinates for support and wished them success and satisfaction from work.
I am privileged to have been with the Centre from the very beginning, always surrounded by fantastic, passionate and dedicated people. There have been more than eight years of constant professional challenges, joy and comradeship for me, including the five-year period of time when I served as the Centre's Director. Now, at the end of my tour I am delighted to say that I am very satisfied with all that we have achieved together.
A new commander of the NATO MP COE was previously posted as Department Head and chief of section within the Education and Training Branch.
As the former NATO MP COE's Director, Col Grzegorz WASIELEWSKI emphasised,
that Col Mirosław ŁABĘCKI, has always been a great supporter of me as one of the members of nucleus forming the NATO MP COE and then building up its capabilities within the Education and Training pillar.
The change of command ceremony was marked by providing letters of appreciation from the international military and civilian authorities written on this occasion to col Grzegorz WASIELEWSKI, moreover the NATO MP COE's personnel presented special gifts to the outgoing Director.
The ceremony was completed by delivering words of appreciation and deep respect.
