The aim of this forum is to bring together MP personnel from NATO member countries and partners to discuss BP and share knowledge and experiences in the field of close protection (CP). The forum will provide a unique opportunity to interact with distinguished experts, trainers, and fellow practitioners in the field of CP. Additionally, the forum will feature lectures delivered by subject matter expert speakers who will share their valuable insights and experiences, shedding light on
emerging trends and challenges faced by CP personnel.
Open for:
- MP/GTF CoI directly related to CP;
- SMEs and specialised branches responsible for CP;
- E&T institutions responsible for CP;
- Other persons responsible for CP can be accepted if they already possess proper substantiations;
- No limitation on ranks, but the personnel currently working on/or with the experience of tactical and operational level ofoperation are preferred.
Learning objectives:
- To provide a hub for the CP CoI;
- To provide update on the current situation and challenges of the CP CoI;
- To discuss the way ahead of the NATO MP CP Handbook;
- To combine theoretical and practical aspects of CP;
- To organise separate sessions in small syndicates for discussions about the current and new threats for close protection teams and the security classification of the forum for the future;
- Introduction to the national view of CP by the host nation based on presentations and demonstrations in order to get a common picture in NATO.
