This course is to provide students with an introductory level of knowledge about the NATO MP Lessons Learned Process in order to contribute to improvement of the existing MP capabilities, as well as to train how to best integrate them in support of multinational operations within the wider context of NATO and the international community.

  • MP LL practitioners, LL OPRs, LL POCs who have not applied the NATO LL Process yet;

Learning objectives:

  • Understand NATO LL process;
  • Outline NATO LL organisational structure;
  • Familiarise with NATO LL tools;
  • Follow the Observation Discussion Conclusion Recommendation (ODCR) format while drafting observations;
  • Acquaint with basic analysis techniques;
  • Recognise how to validate lessons identified.
