The NATO MP COE has successfully conducted the next webinar from the cycle of “11 Webinars Initiative” – a project created to support the sponsoring nations in their own languages, and to promote the NATO Military Police Community of Interest along with the Centre’s activities.

The event was organised on 08 July 2021 by the Bulgarian representative at the NATO MP COE, LTC Dragomir STEFANOV, for an online audience from Bulgaria – more than 20 participants from Bulgarian Military Police Service HQ in Sofia and from 5 Military Police Regional Services - Sofia, Plovdiv, Sliven, Varna and Pleven.

The event's subject concerned the commanding of MP units during wartime based on experience from the Homeland War in Croatia. It was delivered by the first Chief of the Croatian MP Directorate, LTG Mate LAUŠIĆ (HRV), ret., a Military Police officer with broad professional experience.

The NATO MP COE has already hosted a lecture by LTG Mate LAUŠIĆ (HRV), ret. Due to the positive feedback and significant interest, the Centre decided to invite the distinguished speaker to share his experience and knowledge with Bulgarian Community of Interest as part of "11 Webinars Initiative".

The presentation was initiated by a speech delivered by Director COL Mirosław ŁABĘCKI in a Bulgarian language version. He welcomed the participants and familiarised them with the idea of "11 Webinars Initiative" cycle.
 
The intent of the event was to provide information and to raise awareness about significance of MP role during combat operations, as well as to introduce participants with practical experience in organising MP units, structures and their employments.
