Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and as part of precautionary and preventive measures, the NATO Military Police Centre of Excellence (NATO MP COE) took the decision to cancel the on-site form of the Provost Marshal Forum (PMF20-6) originally planned for March 2020.
However, the NATO MP COE organized an on-line PMF20-6 that was offered from 27 to 28 October 2020 in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
The purpose of the PMF20-6 was to present information about the latest findings and changes caused by the COVID-19, as well as newest/recent projects for the Military Police Community of Interest (MP COI). The event was also highly important as it strengthened cooperation amongst Provost Marshals (PMs) who could exchange information, provide expertise, capture lessons learned and best practices, as well as develop common strategies in order to support training, exercises and operations.
This year’s online event hosted over 40 participants, including Provost Marshals from NATO Force Structure, NATO Command Structure, national MP representatives and PfP countries’ MP representatives.
