The NATO MP CoE, as a hub for MP expertise, does not slow down its pace as far as teaching processes are concerned. Hence, following the 2019 course portfolio, on 21-25 OCT the MP Snr NCO Course was delivered for 33 students who arrived at the course venue from 15 different NATO and PfP countries (BEL, CZE, DEU, ESP, GBR, HRV, HUN, EST, LTU, LVA, NLD, POL, ROU, SVK.). Although the training was scheduled only for five days, the complexity and variety of provided briefings and small groups’ tasks challenged the trainees significantly. As such, the aim was to boost their knowledge in preparation for a mission under a multinational mandate. Therefore, the overarching message was to enhance interoperability which is key to any multinational mission accomplishment.
The intense training was enabled and facilitated by experienced officers and NCOs. The course was categorized into theory and practical modules that is an excellent blended learning method giving the most expected results. Furthermore, the students were obliged to present their national MP capabilities in order to know each other and find a common ground for mutual performance having different capabilities, but the same aim - successful fulfilment of the task given.
