Countering hybrid threats has become one of NATO top priorities. As such, recent events in the eastern part of Europe have given voice to the conviction that the Alliance does prioritise a continuous development of countering blended non-linear war practices.

The NATO MP Community of Interest (CoI) follows the above-mentioned policy in order to ensure compliance with the enhancement of current military capabilities that encompasses doctrinal and educational adjustments based on the lessons learned collection process. Hence, the NATO MP COE, as a central hub for its CoI, co-organises a subsequent event dedicated to the scrutiny of hybrid war-related experience garnered by the Ukrainian military police force.
The Military Police Hybrid Warfare Workshop will take place in Lviv (Ukraine) on 13-15 October 2020 and it will constitute the next step
of mutual co-operation between the NATO MP COE and UKR Military Law and Order Service. Thus far, a comprehensive Report on MP in Hybrid War has been compiled as a successful outcome of the International Conference held in Kiev in 2019. Owing to the fact that the Report, disseminated widely among NATO, including MP Chiefs, met with the approval of all those concerned, further analysis is needed. In order to discuss substantial issues regarding the Ukrainian MP employment within hybrid warfare operations, focusing at the same time on top-bottom tactical aspects, such gathering platform in Lviv appears to be of utmost relevance. Not only does the workshop deliver an opportunity for attendees to be acquainted with good practices and valuable conclusions presented by practitioners, but it also enables to foster multinational networking that can build up further interoperability.
