NATO Military Police Centre of Excellence (NATO MP COE) successfully conducted the sixth edition of the NATO Military Police Senior Non-commissioned Officer Course (MPSrNCOC18-1)
on June 2018
On 11-15 June 2018, the NATO MP COE held the sixth edition of the MPSrNCOC18-1. At the event, representatives of 7 NATO nations and 3 NATO partner countries (in total 17 students) had an opportunity not only to gain theoretical knowledge, but also to practise their newly acquired skills during intensive syndicate works.
The main goals of the MPSrNCOC18-1 were to provide detailed awareness regarding administrative and personnel issues; 
advise on Military Police (MP) company commander’s intent while operating in a NATO/multinational structure, 
enhance operational knowledge in the field of MP capabilities in order to prepare MP staff for working in a multinational (in particular NATO) environment at the company level.
The following crucial factors conditioning MP operating in the multinational operation were discussed in details, i.e. 
diversity of  NATO rank structure and the level of experience presented by various ranks from particular countries; 
coping with mechanism of solving  various administrative and personnel issues of multinational MP company; 
the importance of security and impact of violating security rules within a multinational (in particular NATO) environment.
During the MPSrNCOC18-1, the participants gained knowledge about the importance of NATO centres of excellences and their role, organisation and contribution to NATO. The essential part, giving recommendations to commanders on MP employment in a multinational (in particular NATO)-led operations, was provided by a complex case scenario.
It is necessary to emphasise as well that during the above-mentioned event, the NATO MP COE had an opportunity to host the commander of the 18th US Military Police Brigade who familiarised the students with the Command Team Concept. 
Moreover, the lectures clarified MP capabilities of particular countries operating within a multinational (in particular NATO) environment.
