The 4th Military Police Working Group, hosted by the Latvian Military Police, has successfully concluded in Riga.

This week brought together Military Police and Gendarmerie-type Forces experts from across NATO, working side by side to strengthen cooperation and interoperability in a very practical way.

The focus was on real, operationally relevant topics:

  • developing and refining doctrine
  • improving standardization
  • sharing recent lessons learned
  • and shaping future Military Police capabilities

What stood out most was the level of open exchange and multinational teamwork — turning discussions into tangible progress for the NATO Military Police community.

A big thank you goes to all participants for their professionalism, engagement, and valuable contributions throughout the week. Your input continues to directly support stronger interoperability across the Alliance.
