On 17 May 2017, the NATO Military Police Centre of Excellence hosted a group of over 20 National Liaison Representatives to HQ SACT. The visit was organized as a part of their study tour and furthermore encompassed other allied institutions and command structures deployed in Poland at Bydgoszcz and Szczecin garrisons.
The delegation was chaired by Brigadier General Hartov STEEN representing the Danish Army. During the briefing presented at the NATO MP COE, the guests were familiarized with the Centre’s concept, structure, and the main areas of interests and involvements.
The Centre’s Deputy Director - Lt Col Thorsten STOLL’s presentation was accompanied by numerous questions related to current activities of the NATO MP COE, and role of the Centre in fulfilling support tasks for SACT, some doctrinal and jurisdiction matters.
At the end of the meeting, the chairman of the delegation thanked the host of the meeting for presenting exhaustive information, and expressed his high recognition for broad extend of tasks executed by the NATO MP COE and way of its functioning.
