With the army heavily engaged throughout the world, the need to prepare military police officers for international cooperation is becoming increasingly important. Collection, sharing of observations, insights, Lessons Identified, as well as dissemination of Lessons Learned (LL) and best practices throughout the operating and generating forces greatly enhance the success of the Military Police by providing valuable tools to those who need them the most. To address this issue, the NATO Military Police Centre of Excellence (NATO MP COE) has prepared a NATO Military Police Lessons Learned Staff Officer Course (MPLLSOC) which is to take place on 24 – 28 April 2017.
The primary aim of the aforementioned Course is to enable students to perform as Lessons Learned (LL) personnel within the unique NATO Military Policing Area of Responsibility guided by the NATO LL Process. Prior to this event, the NATO Community of Interest (COI) has never possessed exclusive MP-oriented LL course. Consequently, it is introduced as a new element of the Military Policing Discipline.
